The mysterious story of this dress unfolds in the darkest attic in Louisiana. The dress belonged to the most elegant Boudoir Doll of the lady of the house. It’s been hidden away all these years in that old cedar chest full of memories.
This particular dress is very special. It is made from the same stock as Melancholy Dearest, but it’s a new design of its own. The dress has a tattered and curly edged tea stained ruffled collar, long fitted sleeves with dramatic ruffled cuffs. The skirt hangs lower in the back and is able to fully swing out for dramatic affairs and is finished off with a tattered, tea stained raw edge ruffle.
Victorian ladies prefer the pantaloons with this dress, available separately!
The dress closes in the back with 2 snaps.
